It was almost as exciting as seeing my daily driver fire up... What the hell Brant? No flames out the backwards headers, no having to put the damn thing on a batt charger because you drained the batt cranking on it? No, oh shit I forgot -------??? Pretty lame dude..

Naaa, it was bad ass.. Bastard looked like it was going to lope itself right off the lift...

I dub thee Mean_BBC 1.0 !!!

I hope you guys are gonna find a good place to tie the front cage struts back on to the front frame rails some where or its gonna be MEAN_Twisted_BBC 1.0 and probably have severe tire shake problems.

But other than that, looks plumb knarly!!! :shoot:

Jason has it right now doing the front down bars. There's not much room for them, but the car definitely needs them. He's also doing the seat mounts, chute mounts, and some pedal work. I'll post pics (of course) as the stuff happens. 8)

I swear, sometimes it almost looks like Jason has done this before

My car was hard enough, once half a dozen bars were put in, hell you had to be a yoga expert to climb in and out of it... Your car, well, I'm just gonna have to start calling Jason, Gumby.. I had a hard enough time just looking at where the bars welded to the a-pillar bars, I cant imagine trying to fit it, then getting my head with a welding helmet in there to weld it...

Looks good Brant, shouldnt be much longer and you'll have to get back to work and get that thing on the track 8)

Just one question... How often do you have to change plugs in that sumbitch???

I was thinking the same thing. Can you still take the headers off and get them out?
I do feel sory for you if you have to change a plug at the track... you have a thousand foot of pipe and metal thats going to be glowing hot  better get some welding gloves

Funny thing about the plugs... You see all that shit in the way all over the top of them???? Since all the exhaust is up top there is nothing down low. The plugs are wide open from the bottom. You can get your hand on each one very easily. In the shop on the lift I can change the plugs in like 2 minutes. At the track I'll have to jack the car up, but that's part of racing. It's definitely not as hard as changing the plugs on an LT1 Camaro!!!

Looks pretty knarly dude!!! I can relate to the contortionist stuff...like they say, a really good welder can do it "out of position" :shoot:

You gonna have it ready for the Halloween or Sunday race here? We might actually have something competitve out there for you. I've been working on Brad Davis procharged purple 572 Hemi Dart, and hopefully got all the kinks out of it. If the weather holds out were gonna be there trying to get him and it de-bugged some. I feal sure that once we get him up to speed, it will better the 8.80 I've heard it ran before. :D
